The Bride And Groom

by Ron Tranmer

The Bride

My father put my hand in yours,
and then he walked away.
So much joy filled my heart
on this our wedding day.

We looked into each others eyes
and told the world, we do.
We kissed, then while in your arms
you whispered, I Love You

I'll never forget the moment
that I became your wife.
I love you so, with all my heart
and will for all my life.

The Groom

Your beauty took away my breath
as you walked down the aisle.
You came and stood beside me,
giving me the sweetest smile.

We held each other's hand
as the preacher read his part.
I then told you from that moment
I would give you all my heart.

I've never been so happy.
Dreams really can come true.
I'll cherish you forever.
I'm so in love with you.
