My Father And My Mother

by Ron Tranmer

My Father

I grieve this day. he passed away.
My father
He left this Earth. One of great worth.
My Father

I thank God who gave him to me
A better father could never be
Again one day I know I'll see
My Father

Take him into Thy loving care,
My Father
Until the day I join him there.
My Father

Then what joy will take place
When I see Father's face,
And loving arms reach to embrace
My Father.

My Mother

I grieve this day, She passed away,
My mother
She left this Earth One of great worth
My mother

I thank God who gave her to me
A better mother could never be
Again one day I know I'll see
My mother.

Take her into Thy loving care,
My mother
Until the dayI join her there.
My Mother

Then what joy will take place
When I see mother's face,
And loving arms reach to embrace
My Mother.
