Wedding Ring

by Ron Tranmer

I placed a ring upon your hand,
and you placed one on mine.
The meaning of this symbol
is easy to define:

Our wedding ring reminds us
of vows made hand in hand.
Promises and commitments
are tied to each golden band.

To our vows we will be loyal.
To each other we'll be true.
To my God I am so grateful,
He has given me you.

I'll wear this ring with pride
everywhere in life I go.
You mean the world to me
and want the world to know.
