His Love

The day God called your name
I felt I too had died.
I wondered if I could go on
and with a broken heart I cried.
Why would God take someone
as wonderful as you?
Then in my heart I heard Him say,
Because I love her too.
In my grief, I forgot
to trust in God above.
for when He calls us home again
it's because of His great love.
