The Sunset

How lovely is a sunset
at the ending of a day.
Beauty from the falling sun
can take one's breath away.
The sunset at the end of life,
when this earthly body dies,
prepares us for another day
with a beautiful sunrise
It's the time we leave this earth
and rise to a glorious dawn.
Where suffering, and earthly cares
will suddenly be gone.
Family and friends left behind,
will grieve because of love,
while those departed rise with joy
to family, and God above.
